Hello and welcome to the Mirror's transfer news live blog for Friday, June 18.
As well as being the ultimate sporting event, the World Cup is also the perfect shop window for all players to capture the attention of the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and many others.
One player who has seemingly done this is Croatia ace Martin Baturina, who found the net in spectacular fashion with his fine goal against England. Manchester United are now claimed to be interested in the services of the Como midfielder.
Meanwhile, it appears Liverpool may return to another previous transfer target in Francisco Trincao of Sporting Lisbon, despite Victor Munoz of Osasuna arriving and the club's pursuit of Yan Diomande of RB Leipzig.
And, of course, Arsenal are still looking to build on their Premier League title-winning campaign and gruelling venture to the Champions League final.
All of this and plenty more will be covered by Mirror Football today. Stay tuned and stay with us as we keep you up to date with all the latest right here on our blog, which you can read below...
Transfer agent Jorge Mendes has informed Sporting Lisbon that Liverpool are preparing a 'monster' transfer offer for Francisco Trincao.
Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha have claimed Liverpool are preparing a bid which is in the ball park of Trincao's £50.5m transfer release clause.
Liverpool are yet to send a bid for Trincao's services, but it's understood by the Portuguese outlet that Andoni Iraola's side are admirers. They are also in the mix for RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande at this current moment.

Manchester United are considering a move Croatia midfielder Martin Baturina. The silky Como star stuck himself in the shop window with a fine equalising goal for the Croatians against England.
Now according to Sky Sport in Italy, the former Dinamo Zagreb star has become a transfer target for United, who are looking to bulk up their midfield department this summer. In his first season at Como under Cesc Fabregas, he contributed six goals and three assists in 29 Serie A appearances under the ex-Chelsea midfielder.
Baturina also proved to be somewhat of a Swiss army knife by featuring as a false nine, as a left-winger, as an attacking midfielder and as a deeper-lying playmaker for Fabregas.
