Hello and welcome to the Mirror's transfer news live blog for Friday, June 18.
As well as being the ultimate sporting event, the World Cup is also the perfect shop window for all players to capture the attention of the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and many others.
One player who has seemingly done this is Croatia ace Martin Baturina, who found the net in spectacular fashion with his fine goal against England. Manchester United are now claimed to be interested in the services of the Como midfielder.
Meanwhile, it appears Liverpool may return to another previous transfer target in Francisco Trincao of Sporting Lisbon, despite Victor Munoz of Osasuna arriving and the club's pursuit of Yan Diomande of RB Leipzig.
And, of course, Arsenal are still looking to build on their Premier League title-winning campaign and gruelling venture to the Champions League final.
All of this and plenty more will be covered by Mirror Football today. Stay tuned and stay with us as we keep you up to date with all the latest right here on our blog, which you can read below...
