Manchester United will play Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on Boxing Day next season after the Premier League released the fixture list for the 2026/27 season.
United were the only side to play a game on Boxing Day last season, when they beat Newcastle United 1-0 at home, but the Premier League has scheduled a full round of games for that day this season, with Boxing Day falling on a Saturday.
Both of United's games between Christmas and New Year will take place at home, with Sunderland the visitors to Old Trafford on Wednesday, December 30 (8pm).
Michael Carrick's side do face a long trip just after New Year as they travel to the Amex Stadium to face Brighton on Saturday, January 2, with the game currently scheduled for 3pm, although TV selections for the festive period won't be confirmed until later in the season.
United's game in the run-up to Christmas is a daunting one, as they face a trip to the Emirates to play champions Arsenal on Saturday, December 19 (3pm).
2026/27 festive fixture list:
December 19: Arsenal (A) - 3pm
December 26: Nottingham Forest (H) - 3pm
December 30: Sunderland (H) - 8pm
