Liverpool’s Premier League fixtures for season 2026/27 have been released, with Andoni Iraola‘s first game in charge of the Reds to be against Newcastle.
The Reds’ opening game will take place on Sunday, August 23, with the Premier League season itself kicking off on the Friday night with champions Arsenal against newly promoted Coventry City.
Liverpool’s first home game of the season is against Nottingham Forest the following weekend, with a trip to newly boys Ipswich next up.
Iraola will have a reunion with his former club, Bournemouth, on matchday five, which is followed by Man City at Anfield.

That match against City is immediately after the new three-week international break in September-October.

There’s also a big double-header in early May, with Chelsea (H) followed by Man City (A).
The Reds end the season at home to Bournemouth.
