Andoni Iraola’s Liverpool has learned its pathway in its bid to recapture the Premier League trophy, with the Reds’ fixtures for the 2026/27 season being released.
Liverpool heads into a new campaign with a third different manager in three seasons, after Arne Slot and the Reds parted ways at the end of the 2025/26 campaign. The Dutchman left Liverpool a one-time Premier League winner, having captured the title in his debut season on Merseyside.
The Reds announced the arrival of Iraola from Bournemouth shortly after, ahead of a season that will see Liverpool undergo major changes to its squad. Club legends Mohammed Salah and Andy Robertson departed on free transfers, as has confirmed Real Madrid-bound defender Ibrahima Konate.
Iraola will kickstart his Liverpool Premier League career away at Newcastle. The Reds will also play four consecutive favorable ties against Nottingham Forest, Ipswich, Fulham, and Bournemouth, before getting stuck in against some Premier League rivals.

Back onto the transfer front, Osasuna’s Victor Munoz will join the club for $45.5 million on a six-year contract. Liverpool is also tracking RB Leipzig and the Ivory Coast superstar, Yan Diomande. Reports suggest that the Reds are set to table an offer for the player worth $113.5 million.

The two young attackers will bolster Iraola’s attacking options ahead of the busy season. Young French defender Jeremy Jaquet will also link up with the Reds from Stade Rennais, having agreed a transfer in February earlier this year.
Iraola says he’s “excited” to join the Reds and looks forward to patrolling the Anfield touchline. “Really excited, really excited,” he told Liverpoolfc.com. “Because obviously you know about Liverpool, you know that it’s a big club, a massive club, one of the biggest in the world.”

“But feeling inside and understanding a little bit more of this club, I always thought it’s a special club. You don’t need a lot of things to get attracted by Liverpool.
"Liverpool is Liverpool. But obviously, the atmosphere, the supporters, the club, the players, the chance for me to coach top-level players, the chance to fight for titles. I think it cannot be more attractive than this. It’s difficult to find it. So, really excited to start.”
