Liverpool will travel to Newcastle United for Andoni Iraola's first game in charge on the opening weekend of the Premier League season.
The Reds travel to the north east for a Sunday 4.30pm kick-off in front of the television cameras as they bid to get back into title contention under their new boss.
Nottingham Forest travel to Anfield for Liverpool's first home game of the season the following weekend. The Reds face blockbuster home games against Manchester City and Arsenal on October 10 and October 31.
Manchester United then travel to Anfield on November 21 before the first Merseyside derby of the season at Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium on November 28.
The respective return fixtures at Old Trafford and Anfield against the Reds' biggest rivals are scheduled for January 23 and January 30. All fixtures after the opening day could move for television selections.
The hope at Anfield will be that Iraola can oversee a far better campaign following a disastrous title defence under Arne Slot, who lost his job in the off-season.
Despite winning the Premier League title in the Dutchman's maiden season, Liverpool lost 12 of their 38 games and finished fifth in the top-flight standings, just one place and three points ahead of Iraola and Bournemouth.
It's a new era in more ways than one at Anfield this season with Liverpool's long-term talisman, Mohamed Salah, no longer at the club.
The attacker announced in the final weeks of the 2024-25 campaign that he would Liverpool this summer and the club have already made moves to strengthen in attack, signing Victor Munoz while also pursuing a blockbuster deal for Yan Diomande.
