June 19 – Manchester United have appointed Champions Travel and Travel Connection as their new Official Match Breaks Partners.
The multi-year agreement, which begins ahead of the 2026/27 season, will see the two travel operators provide official matchday packages combining tickets, accommodation and transport for supporters travelling to Old Trafford from across the UK and overseas.
The deal replaces United’s previous match breaks partnership and forms part of the club’s wider strategy to maximise revenue from supporters making pilgrimages to Old Trafford, while streamlining the booking process through official channels.
Marc Armstrong, chief business officer of Manchester United, said: “Manchester United has passionate and loyal supporters across the world and, for some, a visit to Old Trafford is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Through the expertise and global reach of Champions Travel and Travel Connection, we are making it easier than ever for fans to plan their trip and enjoy the high-quality service and memorable experience they expect with Manchester United.” United’s logic is straightforward: if millions of fans dream of visiting Old Trafford, making that journey easier can also be good business.
Kevin Ward, CEO and founder of Champions Travel, said: “Supporters today are looking for convenient, trusted and flexible ways to experience live football, and this partnership allows us to provide exactly that, through official travel and accommodation packages. We look forward to working closely with Manchester United to deliver exceptional matchday experiences and creating unforgettable memories for supporters around the world.”
The Red Devils will travel to newly-promoted Hull to begin their Premier League season on August 22.
