Leeds United handed transfer incentive with Japan forward Ayase Ueda 'open' to Premier League move
Leeds United-linked forward Ayase Ueda is open to a Premier League move, a report has claimed.
Speculation regarding Ueda has been rife for months and Leeds have been repeatedly mooted as a potential landing spot for the 27-year-old.
He plies his trade in the Netherlands with Feyenoord and delivered a 26-goal haul last term, fuelling talk of a Premier League move.

Ayase Ueda ‘open’ to move
According to TEAMtalk, Ueda is open to the idea of testing himself in England’s top tier. The division would be a new one for Ueda to conquer with the forward having already starred in Japan, Belgium and the Netherlands.
It has been suggested a bid of around £30m would be enough to prise him from Feyenoord, who will be reluctant to lose such an influential figure.
However, if Ueda gets himself among the goals at the World Cup, he could see his valuation pushed up.
Leeds United as potential destination for Ayase Ueda
Back in December, European football expert Andy Brassell suggested Ueda had “Leeds written all over him”. During an appearance on talkSPORT, he said: “I wonder if a bottom-half Premier League team has a dart for him next summer or maybe even as early as January, depending on where they’re at.

“He’s kind of got Leeds written all over him. There’s a lot to like about them, but where are the guys putting it in the back of the net?
“There are big question marks over the sustainability over the period of a season for both Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha. If you’re Feyenoord and a Premier League club come in with a proper offer, I think it’s quite hard to say no. However ambitious [Feyenoord boss] Robin van Persie is, I think a big offer tempts you.”
