Dillon Gabriel and his fiancée seem to be one more step closer to finally tying the knot. Zo Caswell recently announced that she and Gabriel have finally managed to get their marriage license, which means that they are eligible to tie the knot pretty soon.

The pair is yet to announce a wedding date, but it looks like they might soon get hitched before the quarterback can enter his sophomore season with Cleveland. Caswell was a strong pillar of support throughout Gabriel’s rookie season with the Browns and is expected to do the same as Mrs. Dillon Gabriel in his second year.

Dillon Gabriel’s lady-love already had her bridal shower sometime back, with Caswell sharing a number of pictures from the intimate event. Dillon Gabriel will surely hope that Caswell, as his wife, brings some more luck when compared to the luck that she brought as his fiancée.

Gabriel did impress quite a bit in his rookie season, but even then showed plenty of struggles as he led the Browns for some time. However, as soon as he seemed to find his rhythm, the playmaker had injury woes, which eventually led to Shedeur Sanders taking over until the end of the campaign.

Meanwhile, Dillon Gabriel’s team has yet to make a solid decision on who their starting quarterback will be for this upcoming season. Cleveland’s quarterback room is certainly crowded, with two youngsters and Deshaun Watson, too, entering the roster right now.

It seems that the Browns have brought the quarterback competition into their training camps as well, which means that Gabriel needs to show up as much as he can. At the same time, Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson will also be thinking the same thing.

Between the three, Watson obviously has the most experience and is a veteran at the game. Watson entered the franchise with plenty of promise, but then he couldn’t get his numbers up as a result of his injury woes. After sitting out the entire last campaign, Watson will now be entering the field as a completely recovered athlete.

Still, Gabriel and Sanders will also be working hard to impress and get the starting role for themselves. Both youngsters made a mark in the previous campaign, but obviously did not do enough to make themselves fully trustworthy for a starter role right from Week 1.
