Arsenal remain in talks to sign Leicester City attacker Jeremy Monga after the Gunners saw their opening bid rejected. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants the 16-year-old at the Emirates Stadium club and he also wants to join the North London club. However, Leicester are holding out for a bigger fee and his representatives are working closely with the Gunners to reach an agreement. Monga has reportedly been learning about life at Arsenal through Max Dowman, and the England youth international duo could be playing together at club level next season.
A new appointment will bring great relief to the academy after this period of instability in its leadership and direction. As for Jeremy Monga, from day one it was always Arsenal and his pals are waiting for him. A pleasure as always working with @HandofArsenal

The Leicester academy graduate will hope to force his way into Arteta’s first-team plans next season, and he has the potential. Arsenal have several attacking options at their disposal and will still look to add more to their ranks as they look to defend the Premier League title next season. Monga will not be the only forward the Gunners will look to sign this summer and the fans will hope one or two more quality options are added.
They have been linked with a couple of big names so far and new targets are expected to emerge in the coming weeks.
