This was Alex Freeman’s third goal in international play. An assist was recorded by him in last Friday’s U.S. victory over Paraguay. That contest ended 4-1 for the Americans. Professionally, he plays for Villarel in La Liga.
During his nine-year career in the National Football League, Antonio Freeman spent eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers. With a bouncing ball catch and run for a touchdown in overtime against the Vikings during the 2000 season, he provided one of the most memorable Monday night highlights of all time.
