Seahawks Legend Attended The World Cup
In preparation for Friday’s World Cup match between the United States and Australia, former Seahawks star Marshawn Lynch delivered a hype address at Lumen Field.
During an appearance on “The Men in Blazers Show,” Lynch discussed the highly anticipated matchup at the stadium where he spent seven seasons.
“This is how I see it. They done caused an earthquake already. We just want to make sure that the building stays put together, because I think if they get loud enough, I think they can bring that mother—— down for sure. That should be the goal. Let’s see if we can bring that thing down. They get lit,” Lynch said of the American fans.
The U.S. team would take home a 2-0 win, the crowd was electric all afternoon.

Lynch’s speech was met by loud cheers from World Cup fans gathered outside Lumen Field before the game.
“Anything is possible, you just gotta believe. Seattle is gonna keep it lit,” Lynch added.
A number of NFL stars have taken advantage of the World Cup to promote the crossover between American football and European football.
Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed Christian Pulisic would not play due to a calf injury in the final meeting between the US and Australia. Pulisic was replaced by Ricardo Pepi.
