2026 Los Angeles Rams Has “Chance To Be Legendary” Says 1 Player

The Los Angeles Rams are looking to get back to the Super Bowl, and the front office is making sure that they have all the pieces to do that. They sit in one of the most difficult divisions in the sport, and have some incredible talent on their roster. It is one of the most talented rosters on paper, so it will be intriguing to see how they look when the regular season rolls around. One player has some incredible expectations for what this team can do this year. Let’s take a closer look at who it is and what it means for the Los Angeles Rams going forward.

While appearing on Up and Adams, Los Angeles Rams strong safety Kamren Curl mentioned how he believes the defense has a chance to be legendary.

“Right now it’s early – it’s only what, June – but I feel like we’ve got a chance to be legendary. Just the type of guys we got. We’ve got a bunch of experience back there. We’ve got some Super Bowl winners in there, we’ve got some Defensive Player of the Years. We’ve got some guys that, if we do what we’ve got to do, we can be one of the best.”

There is an argument that Curl can be correct. The Los Angeles Rams made a pair of massive trades to improve the defense, adding cornerback Trent McDuffie and edge rusher Myles Garrett. They also added Jaylen Watson to improve the top-end talent on the roster for the defense. After such a strong season and having the Super Bowl Champions in their division, the Rams are pushing all the chips to the middle of the table to be the Super Bowl favorites.

Having some potential Pro Football Hall of Fame talent and at least the rumblings of defensive tackle Aaron Donald coming out of retirement, this Los Angeles Rams defense has a chance to be legendary. Last season, they finished 10th with 20.4 points per game allowed. Having a tough schedule heading into 2026, this is a chance for the Rams to prove they are more than just preseason hype. It will be intriguing to see how the defense is able to play throughout the year with all the new additions coming together.
