Perth Glory have concluded the 2025-26 A-League season, finishing tenth with 31 points and eight wins.

The entire squad has been crucial in this occuring, although work is still to be done if the club are to improve even further in the coming years.

If work is still to be done, though, it would be impossible to not acknowledge the work of many important players. Now, the club have acknowledged one of their players, rewarding them with a new contract.

Perth Glory have announced, via their official website, that former Manchester United forward Tom Lawrence has signed a new two-year contract with the club.

Lawrence joined Perth Glory ahead of the 2025-26 season and scored five goals in 13 appearances for the club, helping the Australian side to pick up crucial points.

Speaking about Tom Lawrence, and the contract extension, Glory Football Director Stan Lazaridis stated: “Tom has already shown that he is a match-winner and one of the very best players in the A-League.

“We were thrilled to sign a player of his calibre in the first place and the fact that he will now be with us for another two years is fantastic news for everyone associated with Perth Glory.

“Tom clearly believes that Glory is moving in the right direction as a club and wants to be part of the success that we are all striving for.

“I know our Members and fans will be extremely pleased that his time in purple is set to continue.”

Lawrence’s career at Perth Glory has just got underway and a two year extension to his contract is a signal of positive feedback whilst also signalling the club’s confidence in the forward ahead of next season.
