NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVA) — The Tennessee Titans and former Mississippi State star Jeffery Simmons reached a multi-year contract extension on Friday.
National reports indicate the three-year deal is worth $105.8 million, and $100 million is guaranteed.
The Noxubee County, Mississippi, native has played seven seasons in the NFL — all with the Titans — who drafted him in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Simmons has recorded 383 tackles, 42.5 sacks, 275 quarterback pressures and 65 tackles for a loss during his career.
The 28-year-old was highly recruited out of Noxubee County High School and later starred at Mississippi State under head coaches Dan Mullen and Joe Moorhead.
