Everton willing to put €9-10m on table for transfer – Happy to pay for ‘Swedish gem’

**[Everton](https://sportwitness.co.uk/everton/7) have seen initial overtures towards Torino’s Alieu Njie rejected by the Italian club, who do not want to sell this summer.**

[Tuttosport](https://m.tuttosport.com/amp/news/calcio/serie-a/torino/2026/06/20-149328337/intrigo_marinakis_ma_cairo_blocca_njie) report that Everton are keen on the 21-year-old winger but have been immediately turned away by Torino.

**Everton happy to pay €9-10m**

-------------------------------

The newspaper explains that the transfer market is heating up around Alieu Njie this summer. Torino’s ‘Swedish gem’ is attracting interest from half of Europe. His ‘exceptional talent’ has suitors lining up despite limited playing time in recent months.

His agents have received calls in recent days, prompting a meeting between sporting director Gianluca Petrachi and the player’s agents. The latter have received several calls in recent days.

The only club willing to make a concrete investment, at this moment in time, is Everton. The Toffees have been monitoring the winger on several occasions over the last six to seven months. Now they’ve made it clear that they’re ready to put €9-10m on the table to buy the winger this summer.

However, these figures ‘do not particularly please’ Torino. Their president, Urbano Cairo, and Petrachi want more before they are willing to sell their ‘prodigy’. And so, for now, Everton’s attempt seems destined to be rejected.

**€3m valuation**

-----------------

Their potential asking price isn’t mentioned. Njie is currently valued at €3m by the likes of Transfermarkt. That means Everton are already offering triple his current value to get a deal done. Torino, though, want at least €15m to start talks.

The Italian side do not seem keen on any form of deal, though. They would likely prefer to keep hold of Njie, continue his development, and perhaps sell for a bigger fee in future. For now, Everton appear to have just made initial overtures. Whether they make more offers, remains to be seen.

Perhaps a few million more can convince Torino into a sale. Or perhaps further efforts will see further rejection.
