Crysencio Summerville wanted by 4 Premier League clubs

The transfer window is open, and Manchester United now have a couple of huge months to make the right signings.
While the midfield has been and still remains an area for improvement, Brazilian Ederson is already set to bolster the Red Devils in that department. With Manchester United in Europe next season, they’ll need reinforcements in other areas.
One potential incoming could be West Ham United’s Crysencio Summerville. The Dutch left winger is high up on the club’s list of potential signings. United are already in talks for a deal, and have reportedly offered Summerville a five-year contract. But as with signing most exciting young players, this could be a tough one to navigate.
According to Foot Mercato, fellow Premier League clubs Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Crysencio Summerville.
Like the Red Devils, the clubs are interested in the player profile of the 24-year-old, a pacey, direct winger.
As well as beating other sides to Summerville’s contract, Manchester United will have to come to an agreement with West Ham – something they are currently failing to do in their quest to sign midfielder Mateus Fernandes, another star player at the East London club. Any deal for Summerville would be worth around £50m, with the Hammers reluctant to sell one of their best assets.
Summerville would be an interesting signing. Currently in North America as part of the Netherlands’ 26-man World Cup squad, the 24-year-old is experienced at such a young age.
The United target won the Championship Player of the Year Award in 2023/24 as a Leeds United player, and has developed into one of the Premier League’s most exciting left wingers since moving to West Ham.
With Marcus Rashford looking likely to depart Manchester United, Summerville could be a smart, future-proof replacement.
