During the encounter, Vinicius also scored the third goal against Haiti. Despite a quiet second-half display, the game ended 3-0 in favor of A Selecao.
Meanwhile, Cunha is expected to remain as the preferred option in the centre-forward position, having registered a remarkable outing against Haiti. Brazil has registered four points out of a possible six in Group C.
They are likewise the group leaders and will face Scotland in their final game. The game is scheduled to be played at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Wednesday, June 24. A draw against Scotland will ensure direct qualification to the next round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
