Arsenal continue to be linked with several exciting names as we enter the second week of the summer transfer window. The Gunners are yet to announce a big name signing, though that is expected to change in the coming weeks.
Manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta finalised a whopping six transfers in July of last year, meaning they are potentially currently working in the background on various deals. While the Premier League champions are highly unlikely to buy another eight players this summer, any potential deals could be confirmed after the ongoing World Cup 2026.
Arteta has already been reported to have around £250m at his disposal to improve his squad as they look to defend their title next season. He will also be desperate to go one step further in the Champions League and finally lift the trophy.

Arsenal are reportedly planning an improved offer to sign Jeremy Monga from Leicester City. The Gunners are one of several teams, including Brentford and Newcastle, interested in the promising winger.
But there is a confidence that the 16-year-old wants to move to the Emirates Stadium. And the north Londoners are set to try again to secure his signature after having an initial bid turned down for the teenager.
Monga made 30 appearances across all competitions for the Foxes this term while racking up over 1,000 minutes of senior football. However, following Leicester’s relegation to League One, he is expected to seek new pastures ahead of next season.

Arsenal have an extra incentive to get their deal for Morgan Rogers across the line early this summer. Arteta is understood to be a keen admirer of the Aston Villa star, with the 23-year-old potentially representing the marquee left-wing signing the English champions are so desperate to land.
As if they needed any more reason to bring the England international to the Emirates, a recent announcement has further strengthened their motivation to complete the move, beyond the usual benefits, such as pre-season tactics and fitness training.
The Premier League have announced their fixtures for the 2026/27 season, and Arsenal will travel to Villa Park on the weekend of August 29 to face Unai Emery ’s side. Having suffered a defeat in last season’s meeting, Arteta will be keen to have Rogers on his side in time for the encounter, landing a huge blow to Villa’s chances of pulling off another upset.
Rogers is expected to cost in the region of £100m this summer, as he still has five years left on his contract and is one of the most promising talents in the league.
