Ivory Coast star Yan Diomande would "prefer" to leave RB Leipzig this summer amid transfer interest from Liverpool and PSG, rather than waiting another season in the Bundesliga.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who reports that the player is open to moving on a year after arriving from Leganes. While Leipzig wants to keep the player, history would suggest a big enough offer would see the German side cash in.
Liverpool has already indicated to the Red Bull club that it would be willing to pay around €100 million ($115 million/£85 million) for the 19-year-old. Talks over Diomande and where his future might lie are ongoing.
"Would I be open to the Premier League? I don't know," Diomande said this week. "I am an RB Leipzig player, but why not? My agents will sort that out.
"As for me, I am more focused on the World Cup, that's the most important thing. It doesn't happen all the time, it's only every four years, so I am making the most of it and for the rest, we'll see."
Speaking earlier this week, Ivory Coast boss Emerse Fae laughed off speculation surrounding his star man at the World Cup.

"When we were in France, during the preparation, journalists told me he was about to sign with PSG," he said.
"Here (in the United States), they tell me he's about to sign with Liverpool!
"I don't know, but for now, he will focus on the World Cup, and then afterwards, he can think about the rest of his career."
Ivory Coast finishes its group stage campaign on Thursday when it faces Curacao. It will expect to win that game and progress into the knockout phase.

Liverpool.com says: Diomande will be expensive, but he is ideal for what the Reds need this summer. He ticks a lot of must-have boxes, including speed, goal threat, and trickery.
He is very young and relatively inexperienced, having not yet played in the Champions League, but Diomande looks to be heading to the top. For a prospect like that, you have to pay big money these days.
PSG's interest is well-documented at this stage. However, Liverpool can offer the clearest route to guaranteed minutes under Andoni Iraola, where he would slide into the starting XI straight away.
