Sir David Beckham has profited handsomely at this year's World Cup through his involvement in numerous advertising campaigns. The former England international won 115 caps for his nation but never made it to the final on football's grandest stage.

Beckham progressed to the quarter-finals of the World Cup but will maintain his visibility throughout this year's showcase event. This comes courtesy of his multiple advertising features, which are expected to net him millions.

The 51-year-old will appear in several commercials, featuring the likes of Lay's crisps and Adidas. Additional commitments include brands such as Home Depot, McDonald's, the Bank of America and Stella Artois.

Market analysts have estimated that the former Manchester United icon will pocket a substantial £19million for his numerous endorsements at the World Cup. Marketing Made Clear said: "Brands work with Beckham because he is dependable and recognisable."

Beckham is already worth considerable sums after being identified as the first British athlete to achieve billionaire status. The Inter Miami co-owner is reported to have a net worth of £1.185billion, according to theSunday Times Rich List.

This fortune is shared with former pop star and businesswoman Lady Victoria, who also runs a luxury fashion label. The couple have seemingly doubled their net worth in merely a year, climbing from £500m in 2025.

Beckham also amassed considerable wealth throughout his playing days, representing Manchester United, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy and Paris Saint-Germain. The midfielder was earning roughly £90,000 per week at Old Trafford and moved to Madrid in 2003 for a substantial £32m.

Yet his most profitable deal came with LA Galaxy in 2007. Beckham joined the MLS side and became a trailblazer for the designated player rule, which secured him £4.9m annually.

This provision granted him a substantial wage, personal endorsements, and a share of all team revenue from ticket sales, sponsorships and merchandise.

In total, Beckham stood to earn approximately £193m across five years in the MLS. He departed the club following six seasons, which featured two loan spells at AC Milan, and moved to PSG on a free transfer, spending half a season in France before hanging up his boots.

The bulk of Beckham's fortune has been built after his playing career ended, with a substantial portion stemming from his co-ownership stake in Inter Miami. Now, he is poised to add considerably more to that growing sum through his World Cup involvement.
