Bournemouth now want to sign Arsenal star with 19 goals/assists last season

Bournemouth have an interest in signing Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard this summer, according to The Daily Mail.

The Belgian has been a key player for the Gunners over the past three years, but he could head for the exit door soon.

His current contract expires in June 2027. With no renewal talks planned, the 31-year-old could leave for a reasonable fee.

The Daily Mail now reveal that the Cherries are keen on landing the services of the former Brighton & Hove Albion man.

Trossard poised to leave the Gunners

Trossard had a good first half of the previous campaign with 14 goal contributions for Arsenal.

However, his form was unimpressive after the turn of the year. He managed only five goal involvements from January and scored a solitary goal – the winner at West Ham in the league. (19 overall).

Trossard has had the knack of coming up with clutch moments in the Gunners shirt, but the hierarchy could consider cashing in on him with a couple of left-wing signings planned.

Arsenal have explored the possibility of bringing Club Brugge star Christos Tzolis. Alongside him, they are also looking at a marquee addition with Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers the prime target.

The Gunners purchased Trossard from Brighton for £27 million in January 2023, and we believe they should seek at least £15m to consider his potential sale to Bournemouth or any other club.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are interested in Cherries midfielder Alex Scott, who is valued at £80m. The Gunners could use the negotiations for Trossard to initiate talks over a possible deal for the Englishman.
