Giants WR Malik Nabers Draws Strong Statement From Odell Beckham Jr.

New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers is gearing up for his third NFL season after a major injury.

Nabers is ready to suit up for the Giants this upcoming campaign, ashe’s nearly fully recovered from an ACL and a torn meniscus injury from last season.

The former LSU star was featured in a recent post from the league’s official Instagram page with the caption, “Year 3 Malik🔥.”

This prompted a reaction from Odell Beckham Jr., who shared his excitement about Naber’s return to the team. The returning Beckham shared a comment on the same post with added enthusiasm.

“THE ONE!!! Can’t wait for ur return bruddda @cantguard_malik,” wrote the three-time Pro Bowl wideout.

Beckham signed a one-year,$1.3 million deal to return to New York after six seasons away from the team, which drafted him in 2014 as the No. 12 overall pick in the NFL Draft.

He played for the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins during this stretch.

Before Nabers suffered a nasty knee injury last season, he played four games and recorded 18 receptions for 71 yards and two touchdowns. As a rookie, Nabers was named a Pro Bowler behind 109 catches for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns.

The 22-year-old will be looking to pick up where he left off once he’s healthy. The addition of Beckham should help in Nabers’ development, as the veteran can serve as a mentor and in the team’s wide receiver room.

Moreover, the rapid development of incoming second-year stars Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo is a promising development for the team. The arrival of new head coach John Harbaugh has also stirred a lot of excitement — along with some lofty expectations — for a Giants side that last made the playoffs in 2022.
