HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - Windsor native and New York Giants safety Jason Pinnock hosted a youth football camp in his hometown, giving young athletes a chance to learn from someone who has made it to the NFL.
Pinnock has been hosting the camp in Windsor for three years and it’s clear the kids are already feeling an impact.
When people around the country think about football, they don’t necessarily think of Connecticut. That’s what makes Pinnock’s return home more significant for young athletes looking to hone their skills and build confidence with professional aspirations.
Only time will tell, but if these kids use what they learn at camps and keep putting themselves in positions to succeed, maybe someday we’ll see them playing on Sundays!
