Even if they don’t, it’s hard to imagine that Parsons will be 100 percent that early. The Bears will play the Packers for the first time in the 2026 season on Oct. 11 in Week 5.
To all those people who think the NFL should move another team into Chicago if the Bears go to Hammond: 1) The Bears have a right of refusal, which they would obviously use. 2) If any team moves, or if there is expansion, it will be to London, Barcelona, Berlin or similar European destinations, not to compete with their own product in Illinois.
Sounds like a very, very Jets thing to do. And by that I mean “dumb as a sack of hammers”.
Or you could just can their asses and replace them with better officials.
“Well yeah, it got me and the entire scouting staff fired, turned out to be an unmitigated disaster and set our team back a decade or so, but it was the right thing to do” Colbert didn’t say. Lots of Steelers fans have though. More or less.
