**Chelsea are likely to consider offers for Wesley Fofana, Trevoh Chalobah, Tosin Adarabioyo and Benoit Badiashile, according to _BBC_ reporter Nizaar Kinsella.**
The journalist [claims](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cgjx538n62xo) the four centre-backs are “potential candidates for sale” for a multitude of reasons.
Chalobah and Tosin only have two years remaining on their current deals, so the Blues are very much open to selling the pair.
Como are said to be keen on Chalobah, although agreeing personal terms with the player could be a challenge for the Serie A side.
Fofana, meanwhile, struggled for form last season, and manager Xabi Alonso is looking for a new centre-half to partner Levi Colwill, so his future is in doubt. The club would, however, need £30m to avoid taking a loss on the accounts.
With Badiashile, the Frenchman’s horrendous injury record means that he is unlikely to be trusted by Alonso.

In addition to Colwill, Josh Acheampong is [**deemed untouchable**](https://chelseanews.com/blog/chelsea-transfer-news-7-players-not-for-sale/) by Alonso and the club’s recruitment team, while Mamadou Sarr is also well-liked.
That does leave room for someone like Fofana to stay put to make up the numbers, but a lot could still hinge on what Alonso wants to do.
If the Spaniard is favouring a three-at-the-back system, he would require greater depth in the middle of defence. However, if he opts for a back four, and wants to sign a centre-back, it could mean the writing is on the wall for the 4 players Kinsella mentions.
