This eight figure offer would definitely solve an immediate financial problem for Juventus. The money would be more than enough for them to generate the required amount of profit. But it does not go with their football ambitions. The Turin club has set a much higher price for the defender. They would like to accept a transfer fee in the range of €35 million to €40 million before sanctioning a sale for Cambiaso.
Barcelona also wants the Italian but their idea differs. The Spanish giants want to progress with a swap deal. They want to offer Juventus a choice from a list of sellable players. Chelsea’s position in this situation is strong and they are the front runners in the race. They can provide instant cash at a time when Juventus need assurance.
