CHICAGO, Ill., — The Chicago Bears have about another month off before they report to training camp at Halas Hall to prepare for the 2026 NFL season. It will be the second training camp under head coach Ben Johnson, as the team is fresh off an NFC North title from last season. But for Johnson and the Bears, they are starting from zero again this offseason.
The head coach and his staff have the task of trying to repeat as division champions and then take the next step.
As Chicago prepares for what will be a busy Summer at Halas Hall, they will also be participating in joint practices. The NFL announced on Monday that the Bears will have joint practices with the Cincinnati Bengals and Tennessee Titans, both on the road.
The Bears will participate in a joint practice with the Bengals on August 20th, just a few days before their preseason matchup on August 22nd. A week later, the Bears will head to Nashville and have a joint practice with the Titans on August 27th before playing on the 29th.
Last season, Chicago had joint practices with both the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills, but both were at home ahead of the preseason games.
The Bears will officially report to training camp on July 25th for quarterbacks and rookies and then on July 28th for the rest of the roster.
