The Las Vegas Raiders will be back at Intermountain Health Performance Center before they know it.

As announced Monday by the NFL in conjunction with other training camp schedules, Raiders rookies report July 23 while veterans report July 28. Their three-game preseason starts Aug. 13 against the Arizona Cardinals at Allegiant Stadium, followed by a road game (Aug. 20) with the Houston Texans before wrapping at home (Aug. 27) against the Arizona Cardinals.

Las Vegas is also set to practice Aug. 18 against the Texans in Houston for their lone joint practice of the preseason. Rosters must be trimmed to 53 by Aug. 30, preceding the regular-season opener Sept. 13 against the Miami Dolphins at home.

Said Raiders coach Klint Kubiak at the conclusion of mandatory minicamp: “Our guys have taken to coaching. They’re doing what we’ve asked them to do. I definitely see improvement when we started. At this time of the year, you can kind of get lulled to sleep when the pads aren’t on. So, what team that we’re going to become, we’ll find out come training camp when we put pads on.”
