**Liverpool are gearing up to submit a second bid to sign Yan Diomande as FSG looks to hand Andoni Iraola his replacement for Mohamed Salah.**
The 19-year-old has had a meteoric rise to stardom with Leipzig, scoring 13 goals and providing 10 assists in his first Bundesliga season. Amid serious interest from the Reds, it could also be his final season in Germany, with Liverpool ready to sign him for massive money.
They had a bid worth a total of €100m rejected last week, but the rejection is not the end of the story as Liverpool get ready to make an improved offer for the Ivorian.
He was brilliant for the Ivory Coast in their second World Cup game of the summer against Germany, with Gary Neville and Ian Wright praising his performance despite the 2-1 defeat.
Neville said: _“Diomande on this left-hand side has been absolutely brilliant. Even when they double or triple up, it’s not enough to contain him. He’s too.”_

Romano said: “There _are several clubs interested, Paris Saint-Germain, and now Liverpool are very aggressive, and also because Liverpool will bid more than €100m._
_“It’s going to be a big proposal coming from Liverpool in order to try to change the situation. So Liverpool are working on the player side in terms of contract proposal, salary, and project, and on the club side working hard to get this deal done for Yan Diomande._
_“So that’s going to be a big story to follow, because Liverpool are absolutely there.”_
Hopefully, Liverpool’s second bid will prove successful and make way for FSG to shift focus to other important signings, but with two months to go until the start of the 2026-27 Premier League season, there is plenty of time to get their transfer business done.
