Liverpool have already completed the first signing of the Andoni Iraola era, with Victor Munoz joining fromOsasuna after his involvement at the World Cup concludes.

The Reds are also continuing to monitor several other targets, including Yan Diomande, while interest remains in Morocco’s Ayyoub Bouaddi and Australia’s Lucas Herrington.

Elsewhere, Derby County have officially confirmed the permanent signing of former Liverpool midfielder Bobby Clark fromRed Bull Salzburg on a four-year deal.

The 21-year-old spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Pride Park, making 45 appearances, scoring four goals and providing four assists, and quickly becoming a key figure in John Eustace’s side.

Operating across midfield, Clark impressed both as a No.10 and in deeper roles, earning Derby’s Sammy Crooks Young Player of the Season award.

He scored his first goal against Burnley in the Carabao Cup, before netting decisive strikes against Middlesbrough, Charlton Athletic and Bristol City during a productive run of form in January that also earned him the EA Sports FC EFL Young Player of the Month award.

Liverpool are set to receive a modest windfall as Clark completes his move. Clark, who was at Liverpool between 2021 and 2024 after joining from Newcastle United, made six senior appearances for the club before leaving in a £10m deal two years ago.

The son of former Premier League midfielder Lee Clark developed into one of the club’s highly rated academy prospects during his time at Anfield.

His move to Salzburg saw him reunite with former Liverpool assistant Pep Lijnders, who was in charge at the Austrian side at the time.

Salzburg are now expected to receive around £6m for Clark, with Liverpool due a percentage of the fee thanks to a 17.5% sell-on clause included in the original transfer agreement. That would see the Reds earn just over £1m from the deal.

While relatively small in the context of the modern transfer market, the income provides Liverpool with an additional boost as they continue to plan for further recruitment this summer.
