Player ‘tempted by move’ to Liverpool – Reds make fresh attempt, club open to negotiations

Liverpool have Paris Saint-Germain Bradley Barcola on their agenda, after failing to sign him last summer.

In August 2025, Sport Witness covered claims from France of Liverpool’s interest in the winger. There were even suggestions of a €100m bid could make PSG wobble.

A move never materialised, but the Reds haven’t forgotten about the 23-year-old.

PSG star changes stance on Liverpool

The Premier League side failed to sign him last summer because he decided to continue at PSG.

The France international could make a switch to England and, more specifically, to Anfield. That’s according to Le10 Sport, who states Andoni Iraola’s side have made a new attempt for Bradley Barcola.

Liverpool could persuade him this time as he’s keen on their project and excited about the idea of playing in the Premier League.

In short, the attacker is ‘tempted by a move to Liverpool’. Luckily for the Reds, the Ligue 1 winners are not closing the door on his exit. If he were to ask to leave, Luis Enrique’s side would negotiate his transfer this summer.

Faced with the possibility of losing Barcola, PSG have identified a few potential targets to replace him.

Liverpool have already taken action

The Reds had Cody Gakpo and Rio Ngumoha as the left wingers this season. Last week, Sport Witness relayed news the Netherlands international has informed the Anfield club of his desire to leave this summer.

Liverpool have already confirmed an agreement with CA Osasuna for Víctor Muñoz, who mainly operates on the left wing.

Le10 didn’t take Muñoz’s signing into account when covering the latest report on Bradley Barcola. There’s also no mention of the fee Liverpool are willing to offer or the fee needed to convince PSG.

Ngumoha is most likely to continue and unless he were to leave, it wouldn’t make sense for the English club to sign the Frenchman.

The PSG attacker’s contract runs down in 2028, and Transfermarkt value him at €70m.

Agency GestiFute, owned by Jorge Mendes, represents Barcola. He managed 13 goals and seven assists from 49 matches for PSG this season.
