**Liverpool may be chasing a deal to sign RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande, but they are also keen to sign PSG forward Bradley Barcola.**
This summer is a pivotal one for Liverpool, who are not only preparing for a new era without Mohamed Salah but they are also welcoming new head coach Andoni Iraola. Liverpool must now get things right over the next two months if they want to return to competing at the top level.
Liverpool have reportedly had a €100m bid for Diomande rejected and although they plan to return with a second offer, there is continued talk of the Reds making a move to sign Barcola as well.
While it is difficult to believe that Liverpool will spend around €200m to sign Diomande and Barcola, it would enable them to field one of the best attacks in the world. It would also give them an incredible platform for success in the long term, given they are 19 and 22, respectively.
Liverpool could surprise Europe by signing both Diomande and Barcola in mega money splurge

Speaking on the _Born ‘n Red_ podcast on Sunday, Fabrizio Romano had exciting words to share about Liverpool’s interest in Barcola.
He said: _“It’s just internal conversations… nothing advanced. He was a target in 2025 and remains a name mentioned on daily basis in 2026._
_“This could depend on different opportunities or exits, we will see what happens. I will never come on here and say it’s one or the other player because I’m telling you what I know and it’s that Liverpool are maintaining contact for Diomande and Barcola – it’s at completely different stages because Diomande there’s already a bid and they are talking to the agents but for Barcola it’s an internal feeling they have, internally at Liverpool they are discussing about Barcola every single week._
_“They wanted him ideally in summer 2025 but was not possible. If PSG open the doors to an exit later this summer, Liverpool could be there. It’s a name they keep mentioning at the club whilst they negotiate with Diomande.”_
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, Pete O’Rourke also stated that Liverpool are keen admirers of Barcola: _“I’m sure there have been clubs watching Barcola at the World Cup, doing their homework._
_“He did himself no harm with that goal off the bench for France against Senegal. Look, he’s been a long-term target for Liverpool, Barcola._
_“I think obviously Liverpool’s top target is Yan Diomande, if they can get a deal done for him, I think that’s the deal that they would pursue.”_
