Leicester City attacking midfielder Jeremy Monga is reportedly now expected to sign for Arsenal.
The Gunners manager Mikel Arteta wants the 16-year-old and talks have been ongoing over a move to the Emirates Stadium club.
Monga is keen to join Arsenal too and personal terms have already been agreed between both parties.
A deal between the North London club and Leicester is now set to be struck after the Foxes rejected the Gunners’ initial offer for the teenage sensation.
Jeremy Monga is now expected to sign for Arsenal Football Club.

Monga is learning about life at Arsenal from Max Dowman, and he will be looking forward to hitting the ground running under Arteta. The winger became the second-youngest player, behind Ethan Nwaneri, to play in the Premier League aged 15 years and 271 days back in April 2025. He became the youngest goalscorer in the Championship history at 16 years and 37 days old four months later and will look to set and break more records going forward.
Monga will not be a starter at Arsenal given the experience and quality of those ahead of him in the pecking order.
However, he will get chances every now and then given the number of games the Gunners will be playing in next term.
The England youth international is likely to be Arsenal’s first summer signing, and Arteta will hope to get more players in as he looks to challenge across all four competitions next term.
