Gary Neville has officially put pen to paper on a new deal.
The Manchester United legend confirmed the news through his Instagram account.
The former United captain has remained one of the most influential figures in English football since retiring in 2011.
He has regularly attracted attention through his media work, business ventures and involvement in football club ownership.
As a result, any announcement involving Neville is often met with speculation about a potential return to football management or another high-profile role within the game.
Earlier this week, Centre Devils covered how Neville and Sir David Beckham oversaw Salford City’s first signing of the summer transfer window, with Joe Powell joining the club ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The pair continue to play a major role behind the scenes at Salford as they attempt to guide the club towards promotion.
Neville has also frequently been linked with positions away from football.
Earlier this year, the Manchester United icon has even been discussed as a potential future Mayor of Greater Manchester due to his business interests, public profile and involvement in various projects across the region.
However, Neville’s latest announcement is unrelated to either football management or politics.
Instead, the 51-year-old revealed on Instagram that he has entered a new partnership with audio technology brands Anker and Soundcore.
Neville posted a promotional video alongside the caption: “Proud to be partnering with @ankerofficialuk and @soundcoreuki on the soundcore Liberty 5 Pro. ‘World’s Clearest Earbuds for Calls’. Have a look if you like.”
The post confirms that Neville has signed a new commercial agreement with the brands and will help promote their products moving forward.
While some supporters may have initially wondered whether the announcement related to a football role, it instead represents another business partnership for the former defender.
Neville remains heavily involved across several industries, with his media commitments, ownership stake in Salford City and growing commercial portfolio ensuring he continues to be one of the most recognisable former Manchester United players in the game today.
