Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Juventus have all been in touch with Real Madrid about Eduardo Camavinga’s situation, according to reports in Spain.

Sport claim that the La Liga giants have received calls from all four clubs this summer, with the midfielder’s future at the Bernabeu increasingly uncertain.

Camavinga has had to compete with the likes of Aurelien Tchouameni and Fede Valverde for starts, but new manager Jose Mourinho is keen on adding further additions in the middle of the park.

The Portuguese boss is said to be pushing for the arrival of either Enzo Fernandez or West Ham’s Mateus Fernandes.

If either player is signed, the chances of Camavinga getting regular game time next season would decrease substantially.

The Chelsea target doesn’t want to move

Sport report that Real would be prepared to part ways with Camavinga if they receive a fee in the region of €60m (£52m), but the player himself is currently determined to stay and fight for his place.

Missing out on the France squad for the World Cup would have prompted others to seek a move, but it is believed the 23-year-old sees it as an opportunity to turn up to pre-season training early and impress Mourinho.

Who are the alternatives to Camavinga?

With it looking unlikely that the Frenchman will be reunited with his former manager Xabi Alonso at Stamford Bridge, the Blues may pursue other targets.

Camavinga’s teammate, Tchouameni, is one option. He has been described by one journalist as “Alonso’s loyal soldier”, but his availability could depend on how highly Mourinho rates him.

Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton is someone that the recruitment team have looked at closely, while reports in Italy have suggested that a move could be made for Roma’s Manu Kone.
