Manchester United are actively working on bringing in multiple new midfielders in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils need to bring in reinforcements over the coming weeks if they want to compete in the Champions League and domestically.
United have already lost Casemiro in the middle of the park, while Manuel Ugarte has been linked with a departure.
Michael Carrick's options in midfield are limited, which is why the Red Devils are actively looking to bring in new midfielders.
It certainly wouldn't be a surprise to see the Manchester club sign at least two players to add increased depth and quality in the midfield.
A host of names have been linked with a move, and the shortlist seems to be increasing.

Man Utd Open Midfielder Talks
Manchester United manager Michael Carrick looks on after Premier League win against Nottingham Forest
According to a report from Sport in Spain, Manchester United have opened talks with Real Madrid to ask about midfielder Eduardo Camavinga in the summer transfer window.
The report claims that although Camavinga has a £1 billion release clause in his contract, Real Madrid value him at around £52 million.
The Red Devils are among a number of clubs who have opened talks, including two others from the Premier League.
Real Madrid are believed to be looking to sign Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez and would need to offload someone to make room for him.
Unfortunately for United, Camavinga doesn't have any intention of leaving the club at the moment, so he might take some convincing.

Camavinga Would be Game-Changing Signing
Real Madrid's Eduardo Camavinga
If United can secure the signature of Camavinga from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, it would be a game-changing addition.
Camavinga, described as 'one of the best midfielders in the world', is still only 23 years old, so he's yet to reach his prime years.
The French international already has a huge amount of experience in the game, playing over 140 times for Real Madrid and over 70 for Rennes.
Camavinga might need some convincing to make the move to Manchester United. If he can't be assured he will be playing regularly next season, then he might be tempted by a departure.
