Liverpool expect to be busy in the loan market this summer as they seek clubs for at least six players – including incoming centre-back Ifeanyi Ndukwe.
Ndukwe will complete his £2.6 million move from Austria Vienna next month and has been slated to join up with Liverpool’s U21s.
But the 18-year-old is not due to stay on Merseyside for long, with plans in place to loan the teenager out for the campaign.
The Athletic report that Ndukwe is likely to spend the season elsewhere, having already established himself around the senior squad at his former club.

Ndukwe made his first-team debut for Austria Vienna towards the end of last term, along with making the bench on 16 occasions and playing regularly for their reserves in the third division.
He should attract widespread interest and it seems feasible that Liverpool would look to loan him out to a side in the Championship if not one competing in a top European league.
Which other Liverpool players will leave on loan?

Five other academy players are also expected to leave on loan, including goalkeeper Armin Pecsi, who made the first-team bench five times last season.
No longer eligible as U21s, left-back Luke Chambers and midfielder James McConnell are also set to gain further experience elsewhere.
Centre-back Amara Nallo and hugely talented winger Kieran Morrison – who both captained the U21s last season – will also be sent out for the first time.
This Is Anfield understands Morrison has interest from a number of sides and it is possible the teenager heads to the Bundesliga.

It is however unlikely that left-back Owen Beck leaves the club this summer, with the 23-year-old still recovering after a serious hamstring injury forced him to undergo surgery in November.
The majority of those who will depart on loan could first be involved in the early stages of pre-season under Andoni Iraola.
Liverpool will report back to the AXA Training Centre in early July before flying out to the United States for a three-stop tour including friendlies against Sunderland, Wrexham and Leeds.
It could be that Iraola assesses those players in line for loans before making a final decision, as the Spaniard will effectively wipe the slate clean for the entire squad.
