The Super Bowl LIX champion celebrated his marriage to Mya Danielle with a "timeless" and "intimate" black-tie wedding on Saturday, June 13, at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
"We make an annual trip to Disney every year, so getting married there felt like a natural extension of a tradition that already holds so many special memories for us," the couple, who share 2-year-old daughter Kyse and 1-year-old daughter Kali, tells PEOPLE. "Ultimately, choosing this destination allows us to return to a place we already love year after year and be reminded of one of the most important moments of our lives. It felt like the perfect way to honor our family traditions while celebrating our wedding in a truly beautiful setting."

The festivities began with quality family time at Magic Kingdom Park, then a "Dukes & Boots Welcome Rodeo." The Western-inspired party on Friday, June 12, paid homage to Smith and Danielle's Louisiana roots and felt like "stepping into a backyard family cookout," complete with a traditional Louisiana crawfish boil, a custom cowboy hat-making station, and music from Kool DJ Supamike, who traveled from the couple's home state.
The next day, the 135 guests arrived to the black-and-white-themed wedding wearing all black to create a "striking and sophisticated" atmosphere. Notable guests included Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown, Las Vegas Raiders linebacker Nakobe Dean, Denver Broncos wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, Denver Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain II, Cincinnati Bengals safety Jordan Battle, Arizona Cardinals linebacker Mack Wilson Sr., Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Jahan Dotson, Atlanta Falcons cornerback A.J. Although the entire weekend felt "incredibly special," the couple says, nothing was more romantic than the ceremony. Smith and Danielle, both 27, exchanged "deeply personal" handwritten vows in private beforehand. At the altar, they shared aloud traditional vows while standing in front of a cross cut-out on a wall of white roses.
Live music set the mood for the ceremony, with the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver walking down the winding black aisle to Soul For Real's "Candy Rain" and Danielle to John Legend's "So High," played by cellist Dayron Fernandez, saxophonist Napoleon Holliday, and pianist Philip Cornish, led by violist Jeremy Green.

For Smith and Danielle — who met in middle school at track meets between their schools, and got engaged in Philadelphia on New Year's Eve in 2024 — tying the knot is "a lifelong commitment to choose each other every single day." It means "having a true partner for life" and "building a life together rooted in love."
"Neither of us could have imagined that years later we would be standing at the altar together," Danielle says. "There's something really special about being able to say that we've known each other since we were kids. We've had the opportunity to grow individually and together, and now we're excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife."

The proud parents hope to set an example of what "true love" looks like for their daughters, who walked down the aisle with their grandmother, whom they call "Honey."
"We want them to see a marriage built on love, respect, faith, partnership, and perseverance," Danielle tells PEOPLE. "Our hope is that, by the way we love and support one another, we're setting an example for them of what a strong and healthy relationship can be."
After the outdoor ceremony, which was officiated by Pastor Joshua L. Mitchell, guests headed inside to the luxurious reception, where legendary New Orleans DJ and producer Mannie Fresh provided the tunes. Guests let loose on the dance floor after the bride and groom's first dance to R. Kelly's "Slow Dance."

Danielle changed out of her "fashion-forward," strapless Pnina Tornai ceremony gown — which featured a structured corset bodice with visible boning for a sculpted, architectural silhouette — and into a sparkling, custom-designed Alonuko Bridal dress for extra glam at the reception. Meanwhile, Smith wore a custom black Brian Alexander Bespoke suit.
"What I love most about our relationship is that we can truly be ourselves with one another. We've built a relationship rooted in trust, understanding, and mutual respect, and we've never allowed outside opinions to define who we are as individuals or as a couple nor can anyone ever tell us something about the other that we don’t already know," the bride shares. "We know each other deeply, and that foundation gives us the confidence to navigate life together on our own terms."

Guests were wowed by the wedding cake, which was taller than Smith! The seven-tier cake had the NFL player beat by an entire foot, towering at 7 feet tall. The show-stopping confection was made by Anna Suliana Cakes, and featured dark chocolate Godiva cake layered with marshmallow Swiss meringue and a whipped vanilla bean buttercream to mimic Hostess' classic Ho-Hos.
Other delectable bites included a three-course plated dinner with entrées of slow-cooked short ribs, grilled Mediterranean sea bass, and chimichurri roasted cauliflower steak. Chicken and waffle bites, steamed pork dumplings, shredded chicken birria tacos, Hershey's brownies, and beignets were also available as late-night nibbles.
