Arsenal have reportedly strengthened their medical and performance department with the appointment of Real Betis rehabilitation specialist Eneko Angulo.
The Spaniard is set to leave Betis after 12 years at the club, bringing an end to a journey that saw him rise from the academy ranks to become a key figure within the first-team setup.
According to reports in Spain, Angulo has accepted an offer from Arsenal and will join the Premier League champions ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

Angulo has earned a strong reputation in Spain for his work overseeing player recovery and rehabilitation programmes.
After initially joining Betis as an intern, he gradually progressed through the club’s structure before taking charge of first-team rehabilitation following the departure of David Alvarez in 2024.
The 37-year-old became a highly respected figure within Manuel Pellegrini’s staff and was valued by players, coaches and sporting executives alike.
