On Monday, the NFL Top 100 list began and announced New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan as the 100th-ranked player. They also announced that Indianapolis Colts offensive guard Quenton Nelson was listed as the 99th-ranked player in the NFL. Below is what NFL’s Grant Gordon wrote regarding Quenton Nelson’s placement on the list:

“The No. 6 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft has been a Pro Bowler in each of his eight NFL seasons. However, this marks just his fourth selection to the NFL Top 100 squad and his first since 2022, when he cracked the top 30 at No. 28 — his highest career selection. Nelson garnered an 84.7 overall grade from PFF in 2025, which was fourth among 81 qualified guards. An exceptional run blocker, the three-time All-Pro helped pave the way for a Colts offense that finished in the top 10 in points and yards.”

While it can be difficult to rank offensive linemen to the typical fan, Quenton Nelson has showcased his ability to be a star in the league. He wound up playing 1,039 offensive snaps and allowed one sack, two quarterback hits, 15 total pressures, and was flagged twice for penalties. He has showcased the ability for running back Jonathan Taylor to run through the middle of the field while also keeping quarterback Daniel Jones upright. It will be intriguing to see how many offensive linemen are ranked higher than the Indianapolis Colts offensive guard.

There are undoubtedly going to be more members of the Indianapolis Colts who join Quenton Nelson on the NFL Top 100 list. The list adds two names every weekday until they reach the top 10. Following that, there will be one name each weekday revealed until all 100 players are named. It will be intriguing to see which players are recognized as some of the best in the National Football League.
