The NFL Top 100 list continues to come out, and Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young showcased his abilities to take a step forward last season. After being considered one of the draft busts of recent years, he was able to lead the Panthers to the NFC South crown and hosted a playoff game. The ability to continue his NFL career as a starting quarterback looks a lot more likely than it was at this time last year. Let’s take a closer look at where he ranked in the NFL Top 100 list heading into the 2026 season.

NFL’s Grant Gordon wrote an article discussing the players announced in the NFL Top 100 already. The 98th-ranked player is Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young. Below is the snippet that Gordon wrote:
“The No. 1 overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft quarterbacked the Panthers to their most successful campaign since his selection. Carolina won the NFC South crown, keyed by a massive upset in the regular season against the Rams before a heartbreaking three-point wild-card loss to L.A. In his second season under head coach Dave Canales, Young established career bests in passing yards, touchdowns, success percentage (44.2) and yards per game (188.2). He’s also earning the respect of his NFL brethren, as exemplified by his NFL Top 100 debut.”
Bryce Young had an excellent season in 2025. He finished by completing 304 of 478 (63.6%) of his passes for 3,011 yards with 23 passing touchdowns to 11 interceptions. Young also ran the football 54 times for 216 yards (4.0 yards per carry) with a pair of rushing touchdowns. Against the Los Angeles Rams in the postseason, he struggled as he completed 52.5% of his passes with two total touchdowns to one interception. The Panthers have an exciting wide receiver group to help Bryce Young continue to develop as a legitimate passer with Tetairoa McMillan, Xavier Legette, and Jalen Coker leading the way.
Young joins Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan (100) and Colts offensive guard Quenton Nelson (99) to be named on the list. Each weekday, two new players will be revealed until they reach the top 10. At that point, one player will be revealed each weekday to complete the list. It will be intriguing to see if Bryce Young will be the only newcomer to make the NFL Top 100 list.
