In a recent episode of “Pardon My Take,” veteran player George Kittle shared his thoughts on his teammate. From the podcast, it looks pretty clear that the 49ers and Kittle are ready to move on from the behind-the-scenes drama involving Aiyuk.

The co-host asked Kittle about his experience with the wide receiver and when the last time was that he saw him running on a football field.

Kittle said:

“The last time I saw Aiyuk was, call it, Week 6, 7, or 8. I don’t really know. I used to make it a habit of mine to go out early in the morning before meetings to watch him train because he’d always be out there early, and I watched him run over 22 miles an hour and stop on a dime. So, he’s still got it, or at least that was a year and eight months ago, so I don’t really know. But you guys have fun with that, I guess… You have fun with all that comes with it.”

Aiyuk has not played in an NFL game since suffering a season-ending knee injury in October 2024, and his future with the 49ers remains uncertain amid the ongoing tension between both sides.

In a recent podcast, analyst Emmanuel Acho talked about the blunt comment made by 49ers star George Kittle regarding his teammate Brandon Aiyuk.

Acho said that he believes Kittle has said everything fans need to know about Aiyuk and the 49ers situation, and that is: “Stay away” from the 49ers WR.

Analysts believe Kittle would not lie to protect his team.

He said:

“He no longer views Brandon Aiyuk as a teammate. Period. In what world has George Kittle ever said something to slight one of his brothers? And now he’s saying, ‘Yo, good luck with that. Good luck with Brandon Aiyuk.’ That’s not George Kittle. ‘Hey, good luck with that. That can be y’all’s headache.’ To me, that tells me everything I need to know about Brandon.”

The fact that George Kittle spoke cryptically about Aiyuk is evidence that the franchise may no longer be interested in bringing him back.

Analyst Offers Insight on Brandon Aiyuk-49ers Trade Process

It looks like the ongoing controversial saga between the San Francisco 49ers and wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is coming to an end, bringing the player-franchise standoff closer to a resolution.

Aiyuk has recently removed all the negative posts from his personal account that criticized and insulted the organization.

Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio believes that the Niners have made up their minds and are ready to part ways with the wide receiver in the coming days.

Florio said:

“Combined with his decision to extend an olive branch by deleting the videos, it’s hard not to wonder whether the 49ers have decided to abandon the effort to trade Aiyuk and to cut the cord in the coming days. That would avoid the awkward dance of Aiyuk showing up to training camp and forcing his release.”

It will be interesting to see how this drama unfolds and where Brandon Aiyuk ultimately lands.
