Following Training Camp, the Cardinals will play four preseason games in August. Then, the season kicks off on Sept. 13 when the Cards take on the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. The Seattle Seahawks are coming to the Valley for Arizona’s first home game the following week on Sept. 20. See the full schedule here.
It will be a new look for the Cardinals this season, after a dismal 2025 season that led to the dismissal of head coach Jonathan Gannon in January. Quarterback Kyler Murray, who was drafted at the No. 1 overall pick in 2019, was released two months later.
Los Angeles Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur was later hired as head coach, but questions remain about who will start at quarterback for the upcoming season. Previous starter Jacoby Brissett is seeking a contract extension, while Miami quarterback Carson Beck was selected with the 65th pick of the NFL Draft in April.
The Cards also had the third overall pick in the draft, selecting Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love.
