Liverpool look set for another busy summer in the transfer window following what has been described as a disappointing 2025/26 campaign.

With Andoni Iraola taking over from Arne Slot, it has been claimed that much of the club’s business will be completed later in the window, allowing the new head coach time to assess his squad.

One signing has already been completed, with Victor Munoz joining from Osasuna after Liverpool hijacked Newcastle United’s move for the winger.

The club are also in pursuit of Yan Diomande and are considering a second bid for the 19-year-old. Liverpool have also seen 12 players leave the club, including Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konate, with more departures expected, including potential loan moves.

Elsewhere, Virgil van Dijk has been featured on the cover of Vogue magazine for its ‘Modern Summer Love’ edition, where the Netherlands captain is interviewed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Over the years, Vogue has evolved with the times, expanding beyond fashion to encompass culture, entertainment, beauty, politics and the arts, while remaining dedicated to groundbreaking image-making, journalism, and the discovery of new talent.

Vogue magazine posted on Instagram: “Go big or go home is Vogue’s motto this summer. That is why we are not stopping at just one issue; alongside the Modern Love summer issue, we are also launching a brand-new Vogue Man Issue.

“Featuring none other than man of the moment @VirgilvanDijk as the cover star. In the issue, we get to know the Dutch captain from a different perspective, in a conversation with football legend and friend @Zlatan Ibrahimović.

“Vogue Man, including Vogue’s Modern Love Issue + a free Parfumado x Essential Parfums, is available from Thursday, June 25 – for sale in stores only.” Earlier this year, Virgil van Dijk also appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine.
