Falcons Signs Kyle Pitts To Massive Extension
An agreement has been reached between tight end Kyle Pitts and the Atlanta Falcons on a three-year, $54 million contract, according to his agency, Athletes First.
Adam Schefter of ESPN and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that the contract includes $36 million in fully guaranteed payments.
In terms of average annual value, Pitts’ deal is the third highest for a tight end behind George Kittle’s $19.1 million deal and Trey McBride’s $19.1 million deal.
Pitts was previously under franchise tag for 2026 ($15,045,000), but that contract is null and void now. There was a deadline of July 15th for the Falcons and Pitts to reach a long-term agreement. The Falcons have now extended his contract through 2028.
Three weeks ago, the Falcons re-signed wide receiver Drake London to a four-year, $141 million contract. Now Atlanta will focus on re-signing All-Pro running back Bijan Robinson.
