Andoni Iraola's busy summer at Liverpool shows no signs of letting up. The Spaniard has been in the role for three weeks since his appointment and has already secured his first acquisition in Victor Munoz.

The Spain international strengthens the Reds' options in attack, with further signings targeted in the forward areas of the pitch. The Premier League outfit are anticipated to undergo yet another significant period of upheaval, with the departures of Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konate already reshaping the composition of Iraola's squad.

On the incoming front, the latest development in the Bradley Barcola transfer saga has surfaced, while a transfer agreement with another Reds target has reportedly been reached. We examine the most recent news surrounding Anfield.

Barcola update

Barcola's future looks set to be one of the defining storylines of the summer, as contract negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly at an impasse. The France international remains tied to the club until 2028.

However, the lack of headway on a fresh deal has prompted reports that the Champions League winners could be willing to sanction his departure. According to Fabrizio Romano, the winger has attracted interest from both Arsenal and Liverpool.

The latter have been monitoring Barcola closely since last year. The Reds currently have three left-wingers on their books in Cody Gakpo, Rio Ngumoha and new recruit Victor Munoz, with a potential move for Barcola set to make it four.

Such a transfer for the 23-year-old would occur alongside the signing of Yan Diomande, rather than just one player arriving at the club, it's claimed.

Identified as the successor to Mohamed Salah, Liverpool have informed RB Leipzig of their readiness to submit an offer of up to £86million for the Ivory Coast star. Nevertheless, the Bundesliga outfit are believed to be demanding a figure closer to £112m.

Attempting to secure a new deal with the 19-year-old, Leipzig could face quite the battle following claims that the Reds have agreed personal terms with Diomande. According to Media Foot, the winger is prepared to move to Anfield this summer, with PSG withdrawing from the pursuit due to his substantial price tag.
