The summer transfer window continues to ramp up as Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham all attempt to complete some huge early signings. Arsenal look to be advancing in their pursuit of Morgan Rogers amid claims that they have now agreed personal terms with the England star. The Gunners have been linked with an audacious swap deal for Julian Alvarez, while they are close to signing wonderkid Jeremy Monga as they also chase the likes of Ayyoub Bouaddi, Bradley Barcola, Eli Junior Kroupi, Christos Tzolis and Andria Bartishvili.
Arsenal and Manchester United could go head to head over a move for Alex Scott, with United also handed a new boost in the race for Aurelien Tchouameni as they target West Ham duo Mateus Fernandes and Crysencio Summerville. Chelsea look poised to make Marco Palestra the first signing of the Xabi Alonso era today, with interest also held in Crystal Palace pair Maxence Lacroix and Adam Wharton as Real Madrid push hard for Enzo Fernandez.
Liverpool want to follow the arrival of Victor Munoz by signing either Yan Diomande or Barcola, while Tottenham are eyeing Marcus Rashford and will welcome Martin Dubravka as they also make moves for Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, plus Arsenal youngster Kyran Thompson. Arsenal reach Morgan Rogers agreement
Arsenal look to be stepping up their pursuit of Morgan Rogers.
The England star appears to be the top transfer priority in north London this summer as Mikel Arteta looks to significantly strengthen his Premier League title-winning squad.
Rogers is believed to be keen on joining Arsenal, if a fee can be agreed with Aston Villa. Which is a big if at the moment.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Arsenal and Rogers’ camp have reached an agreement on a contract in principle that would run until the summer of 2031.
Now to see if the two clubs can strike a similar accord.
Aston Villa in fight to keep Rogers
Aston Villa have told clubs they are not interested in selling Morgan Rogers, according to Sky Sports.
Arsenal are known to be among the teams interested in adding the England forward, but Villa are not expected to welcome bids and reportedly will not name a clear asking price for the player.
Fernandes to Tottenham latest
Tottenham are prepared to gazump Manchester United’s bid for Mateus Fernandes.
West Ham want £80m for the player, but according to the Daily Mail, Spurs are prepared to match or better whatever United can offer.

DONE DEAL: Ramsey gets first managerial job
Arsenal great Aaron Ramsey has signed as manager of Oxford United.
He has previously spent time with Cardiff City and the Wales national team, but this will be his first full-time managerial role.

Everton have approached West Ham to enquire after a deal for Jarrod Bowen.
David Moyes is reported by The Sun to be keen on a reunion with the winger, who captained the Irons as they were relegated to the Championship this season.
They are yet to make a formal bid but may face competition from Aston Villa and Chelsea.
Gennaro Gattuso is back in management, mere months after leaving Italy having failed to qualify for the World Cup.
He will re-enter the game at club level, replacing Maurizio Sarri at Lazio.
ICYMI: Chelsea open to Chalobah sale
Chelsea are ready to sell Trevoh Chalobah this summer as interest in the centre-back grows.
Chalobah was a mainstay in Chelsea’s backline last season, playing 47 games across all competitions, but is not considered untouchable ahead of the arrival of new manager Xabi Alonso.
Standard Sport understands that while Chelsea rate Chalobah highly, and are not actively looking to sell, interest from multiple clubs means the player could depart.

New Arsenal midfield target
Arsenal are admirers of Bournemouth’s Alex Scott, according to The Athletic.
David Ornstein reports that the Gunners like the young midfielder but that Bournemouth are unwilling to sell, no matter how big an offer they receive.
It is not yet clear whether Arsenal will make an approach to sign him.
Chelsea battling to sign Palestra
Chelsea have moved quickly in the last 24 hours and are now fighting with Inter Milan to sign Marco Palestra.
Standard Sport understands the Blues have moved at pace and are now serious contenders to sign the Atalanta right-back.
Palestra impressed this season on loan at Cagliari and can play at right wing-back as well as right-back.
A number of European clubs are keen on Palestra, and it is expected that a fee of roughly £45m would be needed to seal a move for the 21-year-old.
Alvarez next club?
Julian Alvarez has set his heart on a move to Barcelona after asking Atletico Madrid to sell him.
The Argentine publicly pleaded with Atletico to let him leave after a World Cup win over Austria last night.
Per Fabrizio Romano, PSG made an approach to sign the player and he turned down their offer, saying he only wanted Barcelona.
Arsenal are also thought to be interested in a deal.
