Tyler Adams is a more senior option on Manchester United’s midfield shortlist if they fail to sign Mateus Fernandes this summer.
According to MailSport, the Bournemouth star has ‘admirers’ at Old Trafford and is viewed as a ‘cheaper’ alternative to Fernandes, who is valued at £85 million by West Ham.

Tyler Adams: The state of play
It remains to be seen what kind of fee the Cherries would demand for one of their key men, whose contract is due to expire in the summer of 2028.
Adams arrived at the Vitality Stadium in August 2023 when signing in a £20m switch from Leeds United, where he spent only one season before departing in the aftermath of their relegation.
The 27-year-old has since been integral for Bournemouth in their history-making seasons as of late, the most recent of which saw them secure European football for the first time in the form of the Europa League.

Adams has racked up 62 appearances for the Dorset outfit in total, including 56 in the Premier League.
How is Adams faring on international duty?
Currently, he is plying his trade for his nation, who are one of the hosts, at the World Cup.
He has played all 180 minutes of the USMNT’s two group-stage wins over Paraguay (4-1) and Australia (2-0), with the triumphs confirming Mauricio Pochettino’s side would advance to the Round of 32 with a fixture to spare.
Then, when Adams’ international duties are wrapped up for the summer, he can turn his attention to where his future may lie at club level.
