Manchester United's hopes of landing a replacement for Marcus Rashford could increase if West Ham can get a deal of their own over the line.
Rashford's dream of a permanent move to Barcelona has collapsed, leaving his immediate future up in the air. With neither him nor United keen on renewing their relationship - and another loan to Barca ruled out - the England forward will be on the move again this summer.
If they can get him off the books, United are looking at West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville. The 24-year-old is currently at the World Cup, where he is impressing for the Netherlands.
For that deal to go ahead, the relegated Hammers would need to source a replacement of their own. That has moved a step closer after the London club declared an interest in Brighton's Amario Cozier-Duberry.
The 21-year-old has just spent a season on loan at Bolton Wanderers and was instrumental in helping the Trotters go up via the League One play-offs. A move to the Championship would be the next logical step, with the Hammers said to be leading the race for his signature, according to The Athletic.

If West Ham can land Cozier-Duberry, it would grease the wheels for United's potential move for Summerville, who would cost in the region of £50million, although his value could rise if he keeps excelling for his country in North America. There is believed to be no release clause in his Hammers contract.
Summerville has already scored two goals and an assist in his first two games, both off the bench. He could add to those numbers on Friday, when Ronald Koeman's men take on Group F whipping boys Tunisia, who are already out after heavy defeats to Sweden and Japan.
United aren't the only big-hitters keen on Summerville, with Paris Saint-Germain also said to be interested. The European champions are expected to sanction Bradley Barcola's departure, leaving them in need of a new left-sided attacker.

As for Rashford, United have blocked him from joining Manchester City or Liverpool, who have previously shown interest, while Arsenal have cooled on the idea of signing him.
Tottenham are interested, while Rashford is open to another European move. He will cost around £40m, but the bigger issue could be his £325,000-per-week wages.
For now, Rashford will be focused on forcing his way into England's starting line-up for the Group L finale against Panama. The 28-year-old came off the bench late on in the dour draw with Ghana.
